Creatine is essentially a trenaportsr, it brings oxygen and atp into your muscles, this is great for increased weightlifting stamina and decreased recovery time; however as it uses O2 and energy (ATP/ADP) quicker it will also dehydrate you and burn more energy. So it is not advised to use for running sports, ie: football. Whey is a very basic yet efficient protein that is easily broken down. I would save the whey for a few mins after you finish working our, give you time to cool off.
