Methyltestosterone is an oral form of testosterone and the basis for the
designer pro-hormone known as Superdrol.
It is very androgenic, with minimal anabolic effects. For athletic purposes,
methyltestosterone is generally only used to stimulate aggression among power
lifters and those looking to boost up their workouts. Great for boxers, martial
artists, powerlifters or anyone looking for increased intensity prior to a
meet.
Since it’s
short acting (and liver toxic) it is not suitable for bodybuilding or HRT
purposes. Methyltestosterone provides androgenic side effects with minimal
muscle gain, though with continued use the muscle take on a “harder” appearance.
It is quite stressing to the liver and kidneys, elevating enzymes as well as
causing acne, gynecomastia,
aggression and water retention.
Were one to tolerate these side-effects, methyltestosterone will offer little
more than some slight strength gains. Long term use can cause irritability and
what is commonly regarded as “roid rage.” It has its place, but
should be used strictly for those purposes.
