Winstrol has
been popular for many years and continues to remain so. It is a classic
“cutting” steroid though it doesn’t actually promote fat burning. It
simply produces clean, solid gains without
water retention.
This is due to its molecular structure it cannot covert to estrogen. In fact is
actually has ANTI estrogen effects due to being derived from DHT, (Dihydrotestosterone)
therefore it has the ability to block SHBG. (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin).
It also has an
anti progestrogenic effect and for that reason Winstrol is advised to be used in
conjunction with Deca Durabolin to counteract the progesterone it produces.
(Though it isn’t completely clear how this occurs).
Winstrol is
also the only compound that comes in a tablet and injectable version, both of
which can be taken orally, which is preferable since it’s water based and the
injections are painful. There is also a veterinarian version that is the very
same chemical compound
as the human version – the only steroid to hold that distinction.
Winstrol’s
most attractive asset is the “quality” of muscle it produces – hard, thick,
dense and tight. Gains are slow and slight so if you’re looking to add mass
quickly, Winstrol isn’t the best choice. But for steady solid gains, it’s
superb. Winstrol stacks swell with
Testosterone
and other steroids and can even take the place of Proviron as a “hardener.”
The down side of
Winstrol, as with all 17 alpha alkylated drugs is the stress it puts on the
liver. Some people complain of stiff joints when using Winstrol, but tagain,
adding DEca would alleviate this problem making it an ideal combination.
Winstrol was a
favorite among many of the early steroid using bodybuilders -- when definition,
aesthetics and a slim waist was every bit as important, if not more so, than
sheer size. Winstrol gives a polished look to the physique that also makes
it popular with models who want to look “fit,” but not “steroidal.” It’s
also very popular with women since lower dosages provide a lean look without
much eight gain.
A total of 50
mgs a week for 6 weeks is the standard dosing – dosed daily, either in
tablets or injectable form. The injectable version, which is water based,
can also be taken orally. It is the same exact drug.
